Rihanna Caps Off Her BIG Day with a Photo Shoot Session
Ready to spend a little time in front of the cameras, Rihanna was spotted en route to a photo shoot in downtown Los Angeles, California on Wednesday afternoon (July 27).
The fashionably adventurous singer rocked a curly red coif while clad in a colorful green and blue short suit with neon green strappy sandals.
The photo shoot outing comes on what's been quite the big day for RiRi - as her "Battleship" movie trailer was released (watch above) along with the unveiling of her September 2011 cover issue for Glamour magazine.
Among the topics of discussion with Glamour was Rihanna's unique style - which draws plenty of attention from fans and critics, alike.
Of her choice in garb, the 23-year-old dished, ?Getting dressed, I want to pick the most bizarre pair of shorts so I can figure out how to make it look right, or work an outfit that will make people go, ?What the hell is she wearing???

Halle Berry's Alleged Stalker -- Charged with Burglary

Prosecutors ain't finished with him yet -- because two weeks after Halle Berry's alleged house invader pled not guilty to felony stalking ... the D.A. hit him with a burglary charge to boot.
As we previously reported, Richard Anthony Franco pled not guilty to felony stalking after allegedly hopping the wall behind Halle's house earlier this month -- but this morning, the D.A. charged him with one count of residential burglary as well.
Franco pled not guilty once again -- and was ordered back to court on August 4.
If convicted, Franco faces up to six years in prison for the burglary charge alone.

Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan have officially buried the hatchet on the old feud -- and partied together in Malibu this weekend ... TMZ has learned.
Lohan rolled over to Hilton's beach pad for a small shindig with some of Paris' close friends ... including her sister Nicky, actress Emma Roberts and "Inception" star Lukas Haas.
One source at the party tells us, "Everyone was so surprised when Lindsay walked in and we thought they didn’t get along. But they immediately gave each other a big hug."
The gang kicked it on the beach, in Paris' hot tub and later had a mini dance party ... but not once did anyone see Lindsay take a sip of alcohol.
We're told Paris is "very excited" about rekindling her friendship with Lohan ... adding, "She LOVED seeing her again."

Justin Bieber Plans His Summer Vacation

Despite being spotted hitting the studio earlier this week with Chris Brown, Justin Bieber just revealed that he has plans to take some time off this summer. After spending the last few years touring, recording and being beyond famous, he plans to spend the summer much like any other 17-year-old.
"I've been working so hard, I'm taking a month off," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "It's been great to just think and enjoy hanging out with my friends. I'm still growing up, and when you're working every day, you don't really get a chance to figure out who you are. So with the time off, I'm able to think, pray and just kind of grow up."
That growing-up time has included some karaoke sessions with his lady love, Selena Gomez, and crashing weddings with her as well. He also explained that he's doing something equally normal: staying in bed. "For sure [I'll be resting]," he said. "I've been sleeping in a lot."
Earlier this summer, he told MTV News that his favorite thing to do when he does get some time off is grill. Bieber is an avid BBQ pit master. "Favorite thing to do in the summer?" he pondered for a moment. "Have barbecues."
"I can barbecue. I mean, I don't make the sauce very well, but I can grill," he explained enthusiastically. "No, [I can't cook]. I can just grill and stuff."
Once he does wrap up that well-deserved time off, his work on his forthcoming album continues. It's a project that's been long-simmering for the teen superstar. "[I'm] writing about how I feel and producing. I've been producing on my laptop and on my computer," he said. "I've been really into it and, hopefully, this next album will be huge."
"I've done a lot on my acoustic guitar, so it's gonna have that vibe," he continued. "I'm not gonna really limit myself. I think music is music, and genre — I mean, I know there's country music, there's rock music, but my music is different. My voice is not meant for any style. I just want to make music."

Christina Aguilera Films New World Hunger Relief PSA
Pitching in for a worthwhile cause, Christina Aguilera lent her voice to the fight against hunger by filming a new PSA for Yum! Brands' World Hunger Relief effort on Tuesday (July 26).
Dressed in a blue top and black pants, the "Voice" coach was surrounded by a group of children holding candles as cameras captured footage to be turned into the PSA launching this fall in KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurants worldwide.
With the effort to benefit the UN World Food Programme (WFP), Miss Aguilera tweeted, "Just filmed new PSA for @WldHungerRelief by @yumbrands launching in Sept. Share this and grow the movement! FromHungerToHope.com"
With Christina also serving as an ?Ambassador Against Hunger? for WFP, the Grammy winning singer previously appeared in World Hunger Relief restaurant posters, including a never?seen?before photo of her in Haiti, accompanied by the quote, ?Together, we have the power to save lives and go from hunger to hope."

It's time to break the meat dress out of deep storage, or perhaps polish up the space egg, because Lady Gaga has another awards show to attend.
On Thursday morning (July 14), her "Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden" HBO special picked up five Primetime Emmy Award nominations, top-lined by a nod for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special. In that category, Gaga will face off against the annual Kennedy Center Honors telecast and a trio of rather, uh, unique challengers: Carrie Fisher, Bette Midler and Pee-Wee Herman, each of whom earned noms for their respective HBO specials.
The "Monster Ball" special also earned a nomination for Outstanding Directing (Gaga's creative director, Laurieann Gibson, picked up the nod), and three technical noms: Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video Control for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special; Outstanding Lighting Design/ Lighting Direction for a Variety, Music or Comedy Special; and Outstanding Picture Editing for a Special. In each of those categories, Gaga will take on the usual spate of awards telecasts (the 83rd Academy Awards, the 53rd Grammy Awards, etc.), not to mention comedians Ricky Gervais and Louis C.K., each of whom earned nods for their comedy specials.
Elsewhere, Gaga's favorite show, "Glee," was among the most-nominated programs, landing a nod for Outstanding Comedy Series. Stars Jane Lynch and Chris Colfer also earned nominations, as did guest stars Kristin Chenoweth, Dot-Marie Jones and Gwyneth Paltrow.
The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards will air live from Los Angeles on Sunday, September 18, at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.

Christopher Schwarzenegger -- Released from Hospital

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's 13-year-old son Christopher was released from the hospital last night -- more than a week after a boogie boarding accident left him seriously injured.
Maria made the announcement on Twitter moments ago, claiming her son was "going to be fine."
As we previously reported, Chris spent days in the ICU following the accident in Malibu -- where he was treated for multiple broken bones and a collapsed lung.
UPDATE: Arnold just had his own proud parent moment, tweeting, "I knew Christopher couldn't be stopped! Big thanks to all the doctors, nurses & staff at UCLA that helped him recover."

Lady Gaga Teases Mermaid-Themed Music Video
Gaga says that her mermaid alter-ego, Yuyi, 'is in incubation' and may be born in her next clip.

Lady Gaga is still doing her part to make mermaids the next big thing in mythological creature trends. Though she went with a lo-fi, '80s-esque video for "The Edge of Glory" instead of her rumored "fishy" theme, there's a chance she could go under the sea for a different clip.
"I haven't been excited about a video like this in a really long time," she said on a Taiwanese talk show recently, refusing to name the title of the fourth single off of Born This Way.
"The relation of the video to my real life, as well as to my dream of the future, is really what makes it so special," she said on the show. "Part of what Born This Way is all about is choosing to live halfway between reality and fantasy at all times, and how anyone can do that. So this video really, really challenges that idea and also celebrates it. And it's very exciting.
"I will also say that Yuyi is in incubation, for anyone who knows what that means," she added, referring to the name she's given to her mermaid alter ego that she first unveiled during her performance for France's "Le Grand Journal" in June. "Yuyi may just be born in the next video."
Gaga teased that her next single would surprise fans during a Twitter Q&A last week, leading to many a guessing game and wish list.
"I don't want to ruin the surprise! It's very unexpected. Working on the video now," she said. "Next single coming in a bit."
A rep for Gaga has not responded to MTV News' request for comment regarding the next single.
