Opening up about their whirlwind romance, Miranda Lambert says that - while she knew her now-hubby Blake Shelton was married when they met - that didn't stop her from pursuing him anyway.
During an interview set to air on "Dateline NBC" tonight (August 30), the "House That Built Me" songstress explained, "I had seen their wedding picture in Country Weekly. I knew better, like this is off limits ... Because my parents are private investigators, for God's sakes. I've seen this my whole life, affairs. And I'm like, 'If all people didn't know better, I know better than this.'"
While she says knew better, Miranda explained that she didn't always know what it was she and Blake shared between them upon their initial meeting. "It was like my first duet with some other country star. And I didn't know if it was just initial butterflies because of that or, I don't know what it was. It was just this draw to each other."
Following Blake's 2006 divorce from first wife Kaynette Williams, and nearly five-year courtship between the two of them, Lambert and Shelton finally said "I Do" in May of this year.
