Terrifying Account Of A Dead Baby On The New York Subway
According to redditor Hollyholidayz a woman brought a dead baby, carried in a stroller, onto the Brooklyn bound L train last night. The train was subsequently stopped around 6:45 p.m. at the 1st Avenue station where police took over the investigation. No official reports have been released at this time.

The L train last night was stopped at 1st ave at 6:45ishy. Announcements said that there was a police investigation at the stop. Everyone was curious and we saw a cop one car down talking to a group of people that seemed very upset.
Apparently, a woman in the next car over had a DEAD BABY in her stroller that she was pushing around. The infant was flopping around in the carriage, head rolling around ect, as a man from that car told me. He also said the car smelled of decomposing flesh, not the usual subway stench. She claimed that it was a doll, but clearly it was a dead child. Someone pressed the emergency button and a policeman boarded the train at 1st ave. She was escorted out with the dead baby in tow and I could see the allegedly dead baby, with toys all around it, flopping around in the carriage. I was so flabbergasted and completely horrified; took me a while to compose myself.

I was there too. I was the girl in the black coat and jean hat. It was myself and another guy who ran to the conductor to report it. I got on the train at 8th AVE and sat across/diagonally from her. She had the baby out on her lap and I thought it was strange because 1, it appeared to have burns or scars on it's face-- and a pacifier in it's mouth. 2, it's body was so much smaller than it's head and it was wearing strange almost patched up clothing...no feet or hands were showing. The lady then realized I was staring and started talking to herself, saying things like "you act like you've never seen a retarded person before..." that immediately creeped me out...

A woman who was sitting directly across from me caught my attention and we mouthed to each other that something wasn't right and if maybe the baby was dead...she started crying and panicking, and I didn't know what to do, so I turned to the guy who was sitting right next to me with headphones and told him. He said he'd go with me to notify the conductor. So, at 14th street, we ran as fast as we could and banged on the conductors window.
The conductor said that he'd make a stop at 1st Avenue where there'd be a cop waiting. He told us to get back on to the second car to make sure she didn't leave. We did that, and at 1st Avenue, we got off of the train and found the cop who asked us what the issue was. We told him, and he walked over to the car where the lady was still sitting there, but had the baby in a stroller that had two of those retractable hoods on it...

Michelle Williams Wins Best Actress at the 2012 Spirit Awards
Making for another moment to remember forever, Michelle Williams had a triumphant experience at the 2012 Film Independent's Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 25).
Taking to the Santa Monica beach venue, the 31-year-old actress looked gorgeous in Louis Vuitton as she spent time with Busy Philipps on the purple carpet ahead of the annual beachfront event.
During the festivities, Miss Williams ended up being doted with Best Female Lead honors for her work as Marilyn Monroe in "My Week with Marilyn".
Offering up a heartfelt speech, Michelle thanked the "roomful of misfits, dropouts, loners ... like me" for selecting her as the prestigious winner.
The 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards will air at 10:00 ET on IFC with Seth Rogen handling the hosting duties.

As the stars of the big screen ready for the grandest date in their calendar year, a bevy of lovely ladies gathered together for the 5th Annual Women In Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party in West Hollywood, California on Friday night (February 24).
Presented by Perrier-Jouet while held at Cecconi’s, Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow looked stunning as she co-hosted the soiree alongside Women in Film President Cathy Schulman.

Chelsea Handler: On Again With Andre Balazs?
She may not always seem like the relationship type, but comedian Chelsea Handler is rumored to be back in on the love scene.
According to a report from Us Weekly, the "Chelsea Lately" star is once again getting cozy with former flame Andre Balazs.
After dating for just less than a year, the pair split last November, but insiders now say they're back together. The two were first spotted at the Warner Music Group's Grammy Celebration in West Hollywood on February 12th, but most recently were seen dining on oysters at BP Oysterette in Santa Monica, Calif last weekend.
The "This Means War" actress is usually pretty open about her life and relationships, but in a recent interview with Redbook, the 36-year-old says she chooses not to comment on her status with Balazs, saying, "I won't comment on that publicly, because he specifically asked me not to, I don't have an issue with discussing it, but I would like to respect someone else's privacy."
So if all goes well could we see the blonde funny woman walking down the aisle?
Not so fast, as Handler explains, "I'm not looking to get married. I've always been like, 'Oh, this could be fun for a while. Katy Perry Signs on for "Raising Hope" Guest Role
We know she is a great singer, but can Katy Perry be just as impressive in front of the camera?
The "California Girl" singer is taking her chances at an acting role, as she guest stars on an upcoming episode of the FOX comedy "Raising Hope."
According to Entertainment Weekly, the pop icon will be starring in the March 6th episode titled "Single White Female" while playing the role of Rikki, a prison attendant who claims to be an old friend of Sabrina’s (Shannon Woodward).
In the episode, Woodward is arrested after participating in an Occupy Natesville protest and is sentenced to two weeks in the slammer while Rikki (Perry) is sure to make her stay a memorable one.
Perry and Woodward are also friends off-screen which gave creator Greg Garcia a good reason to give her a shot. In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, Garcia said, “Shannon told me that her friend Katy was interested in doing an episode and I thought, why not? Let’s do your friend Katy a favor. Then she came in and did a terrific job. And now people are telling me that Katy is also a singer. I sincerely hope that her appearance on the show helps her get her singing career off the ground.”
What did the California beauty think of her new gig? “A couple of weeks ago, I was home, just toasting up a frozen chicken fillet when Shannon called me up and asked if I wanted to do something ‘fun’ for a change and try out a guest role on her TV show. I thought, sure, I have nothing else to do, and I like chillin’ with my best friend. Greg was nice, but I hope he’s not secretly sabotaging my potential future career by type-casting me in the role of just a looker, so that I would never be able to play anything more challenging,” Katy told.
Perry also tweeted an on-set picture while writing, "@shannonwoodward, I hope I don't get type-cast. twitpic.com/8ncq1s."

She's been placing a priority on family as of late, and Gwen Stefani was spotted enjoying a fun-filled afternoon with her growing young boys this weekend (February 18).
The "Wind It Up" singer took Kingston and Zuma to a local park in Santa Monica, California, with her little ones romping around the playground equipment as Miss Stefani conversed with friends while watching on from a nearby perch.
And Gwen certainly proved that being a mother does not mean losing your sense of style - as the 42-year-old held onto her fashion forward ways in a long pink coat, black leather boots and her signature red lips.
Meanwhile, big brother Kingston offered up a little youthful uniqueness as he sported a spiky helmet while riding bikes with his 3-year-old younger sibling.

January Jones: Gearing Up for Season 5 of "Mad Men"
Heading out for a day of pampering, January Jones made her way to a Los Angeles salon on Friday afternoon (February 17).
The "Mad Men" star looked casually chic in red skinny jeans, a white t-shirt and a black cardigan for the week-ending beautification.
Switching to career news, the long awaited season five of "Mad Men" is fast approaching and pieces of what we can expect from the new episodes are starting to come out.
Fellow cast member John Slattery talked about the new season to HuffPost TV, saying, "I think this season is the best yet. I really do," including "We were all commenting that it felt like the first season. We've somehow circled back after all the details and all the plot development that's happened with everybody ... it's kind of circled back to the sort of tunnel vision on each character and various elements of each character that they've dialed in on. It's somehow simpler."
The AMC drama returns with a two-hour premiere on Sun., March 25 at 9 p.m. EST.
