Greek-Owned Freighter Auctioned Off to Pay Debts
Authorities in Hong Kong have auctioned off the Russian-flagged “Sakhalin” freighter, four weeks after impounding it on its way from eastern China to southern Russia with a cargo of sheet steel on board. The proceeds will go to pay debts incurred by the ship’s Greek owner. The crew consisted of five Russians and 16 Ukrainians. [...]
